Great fitting leggings. Feel very high quality
The new seams and waistband feel great and the materials provide the right amount of compression and movement. Squatting in them was great, knee sleeves slide into position but might need some adjustment on multiple sets to stay in place. Overall very very satisfied and will be wearing these alongside my V1s for a long time.
I have tried what feels like every legging/tights/compression under the sun. I am a competitive martial artist and coach, with 23 inch legs and 41 inch plus caboose, 30 something ish waist and I got the size L. After my cut I will go up a bit in weight and my next pair would likely be the XL, as I felt the stitching might be at its limits already. That would really be the only con with these (bit of thread popping) because the rest is all A+. FINALLY a sufficiently large area for my butt, Virus is terrible at this. And I love the sturdy and larger waistband and the hip pocket for the phone, tastefully ensconced within the branding. They look sleek and stylish but aren't garish like many others. Material seems like it will hold up on deadlifts, but as these are more compression like than BJJ spats for instance, would feel restrictive on head kicks. Love em.
V2 Men's Performance Leggings | Black & Gold
I’m a big compression tights fan for Powerlifting. I’ve tried tights from every brand - 2XU, Virus, Sub Sports, A7, Alpha, etc. These might be the best tights I’ve ever worn. They’re a little less compressive than 2XU’s (my former favourite), but the material is a bit thicker and makes for a really great snug and warm fit. Even without a drawstring, I had no issues with these sliding down. The material is slippery, so perfect for getting on those extra tight SBD or Inzer Knee sleeves. They look great and perform great. Very very happy with my purchase. My only criticism is that I don’t think they don’t use elastane/spandex threading, so when I was putting them on for the first time, there was a little bit of thread popping because there isn’t much stretch to the threading. But hopefully it’s not much of an issue. Otherwise, very happy with these!
